SPOS, Alphamerics revolutionary new EPOS system, now offers field-book based real-time liability control. Designed for Independent Bookmakers, this new solution is as functionality rich as it gets having been based on the same EPOS system so successfully used by William Hill and Coral.
The field book based liability control, with configurable liability alerts, enables bookmakers to monitor and proactively manage their positions and exposure for their estate or individual shops.
As the next generation system to Alphameric’s popular Slip Capture Solution, the tried and trusted EPOS system so widely used by independents, their new solution offers real versatility for independent bookmakers with many top level features added. There is a powerful security tool, reviewed and recommended by Dave Thomas from Thomas Audit Security services as well as sophisticated management information reporting, sports betting, betting in running, debit card handling and special offers handling.
With the recent announcement from Alphameric that it has frozen prices at the 2008 levels through to the end of December 31, 2009, SPOS, available now, will no doubt be in high demand over the coming months.
Alan Morcombe, Chief Executive of Alphameric comments “This new enhancement to SPOS is one of many due to be made available to bookmakers over the coming months. We are committed to working with our customers in a way that's relevant to their real business needs and to deliver solutions that support their business. We have already introduced Cyclops, Alphameric’s fully managed Video Switching Service that enables independent bookmakers who use the Alphameric bureau service to switch their central televisions screens between TurfTV and SIS pictures. We have also introduced a new data service for Independent Bookmakers which enables them to receive comprehensive TurfTV data, including UK horseracing, South African horse racing and virtual horse and dog racing, which has not previously been available via the Alphameric and SIS managed services.”
