£8.5
million contract with Gala Coral Group
Limited
Alphameric, the provider of software
solutions for the Leisure and Hospitality
sectors, announces that it has been
awarded a £8.5 million contract
for the
provision of a new EPoS system across
Gala Coral's entire UK estate of Licensed
Betting offices. Gala Coral is Europe's
largest integrated betting and gaming
business following its acquisition
of Coral Eurobet, the UK's third largest
bookmaker with over 1,350 betting
shops.
The contract will include the
provision of Alphameric's latest Central
System
Software, the rollout of iTerm EPoS
terminals running Alphameric's alphaBet
software and long-term software and
hardware support contracts. Rollout
of the
system commences immediately with
the bulk of the installations being
undertaken
between October 2006 and September
2007.
