Alphameric buys Telectronics 6.8 mil

Telectronics last audited accounts
are for the year to 31 December 2004
and show revenues of £5,868,000
and an operating profit of £839,000
before taxation. The net assets at
31 December 2004 were £922,000.
Following
the acquisition Alphameric will integrate
the activities of Telectronics into
Alphameric Hospitality, enhancing
the enlarged division's range of solutions
and services and increasing its customer
base.
Alan
Morcombe, Group Chief Executive of
Alphameric plc, said:

is a business that sells on the quality
of its solutions and services, establishing
long term relationships with its customers,
many of whom are household names.
This mirrors Alphameric's operations
and I have no doubt that the combined
business will grow successfully. This
acquisition also illustrates our determination
to invest further in the leisure and
hospitality sectors, following the
disposal of our retail business. The
transaction should be immediately
earnings enhancing."
