Alphameric buys Telectronics 6.8 mil

Alphameric plc, the provider of software
solutions for the Leisure and Hospitality
sectors, is pleased to announce the
acquisition of the entire issued share
capital of Telectronics Systems Limited
("Telectronics") for £6.8
million.
Telectronics
is a privately owned company operating
as a provider of point of sale, back
office solutions, help desk and other
related services to the UK hospitality
sector. Founded in 1967 as a provider
of IT infrastructure, Telectronics
has grown to become a turnkey solutions
provider to some of the UK's largest
and most successful hospitality and
leisure organisations. It has been
particularly successful in supplying
the UK managed public house sector.
The total
consideration is £6.8 million,
comprising £5.8 million in cash
and £1.0 million in Alphameric
plc Ordinary Shares. The Alphameric
plc shares comprised within the consideration
are to be held by the vendors of Telectronics
for a minimum period of twelve months
from completion and are subject to
an orderly marketing agreement thereafter.
