Premier Travel Inn selects Alphameric
Hospitality Enterprise Solution
Following the acquisition of the Premier
Lodge hotels business by Whitbread
in July 2004, Premier Lodge (formerly
owned by The Spirit Group) has been
integrated with Whitbread’s
existing Travel Inn business. Now
rebranded as Premier Travel Inn, It
is set to become the biggest budget
hotel business in the UK.
Premier
Travel Inn will replace its existing
XN Checkout system, located in the
31 former Premier Lodge sites with
integral Restaurant and Bar, with
InnTouch, Alphameric Hospitality’s
touch screen EPOS system running on
Toshiba TEC ST-60 tills. In addition,
Premier Travel Inn will utilize Alphameric
Hospitality’s Enterprise Management
Software, Caterwide to provide sophisticated
web based intelligent reporting tools
at head office and outlets.
Following an extensive evaluation
process, Alphameric Hospitality was
selected by Premier Travel Inn because
of their proven Enterprise System,
outsourcing capabilities and the ability
to implement the required solution
to the newly acquired sites and provide
full training for all key staff within
a very short time frame.
