Alphameric Hospitality proves business
benefits of ERP system to Deep Pan
Pizza
Deep Pan Pizza, with sites nationwide
has implemented Alphameric Hospitality’s
ERP solution, Caterwide for all of
their 51 outlets.
With
a high percentage of its product lines
being fresh, and made to order on
the premises, tight stock management
is crucial within each Deep Pan Pizza
outlet. Faced with this testing challenge
– to maximise sales in each
outlet, control costs and manage food
and liquor stock (the most difficult
being their famous buffet bar), Deep
Pan Pizza commenced a pilot within
four outlets with Alphameric Hospitality
in February 2003. Following the successful
pilot, which proved the business benefits
of investing in the new systems, Deep
Pan Pizza have signed a five year
contract to implement caterwide across
the estate. Initially Deep Pan Pizza
sites will use Alphameric Hospitality’s
touch screen EPOS system, InnTouch,
integrated with caterwide cash, replacing
traditional weekly business done,
plus food and liquor stock. Head Office
staff and Area Managers have full
visibility of the business via caterwide’s
MIS web based intelligent reporting
tool. InnTouch, alongside the TEC
St-60 touch screen tills offers lightning
fast response resulting in rapid customer
service.
Richard
Kelly, Deep Pan Pizza’s Finance
Director commented “Alphameric
Hospitality were able to clearly demonstrate
the business benefits of their system
which underlined our decision to make
this investment. Being web based,
caterwide enables our managers to
remain customer facing as the back
office functionality sits on the till,
front of house. Alphameric also provides
a fully outsourced solution which
includes managing our EPOS head office
and site infrastructure and demonstrated
an excellent level of support and
responsiveness during the pilot.
“One
of the major benefits of using a web
based system was the ability to add
further modules in the future without
the need to revisit sites. Being web
based, new functionality is extremely
easy to use, and deploy”
Commenting
on the contract gain, Steve Mansfield,
Alphameric Hospitality’s Managing
Director said “There was a strong
people and partnership fit between
the two companies which resulted in
the pilot achieving all the goals
set. This coupled with our pedigree
and knowledge base sets Alphameric
Hospitality apart from other providers
in this space. We look forward to
a long and successful partnership
with Deep Pan Pizza”
