Contract with Laurel Pub Company
Alphameric, the provider of software
solutions for the Leisure and Hospitality
sectors, announces that Laurel Pub
Company, one of the fast emerging
managed house operators within the
UK, will implement Alphameric’s
Caterwide web based ERP solution for
its newly expanded estate of 400+
City Centre outlets.
The total
contract value is approximately £6
million, of which £2 million
relates to a contract, announced by
Alphameric in July 2004, awarded by
Yates before its acquisition by Laurel.
In a
phased implementation Laurel will
introduce Caterwide across the entire
branded and unbranded managed estates,
including Hog’s Head, Yates
and Ha! Ha! Bar & Canteen, Slug
and Lettuce and Litten Tree. The project
will deliver to all Laurel outlets
the benefits of web based stock control,
integrated with other Caterwide web
application modules such as cash control,
Central and advanced business intelligence.
Laurel will also be installing InnTouch
version 4, Alphameric Hospitality’s
latest release of the established
integrated touch screen tilling application.
A
requirement leading to Laurel’s
decision to select Alphameric Hospitality
was Alphameric’s ability to
provide a fully flexible, leading
edge and proven system which would
ensure that any future acquisitions
could be easily and quickly integrated
with the business without the need
to expand headcount. As a result Alphameric
has a wide brief which covers the
project management and implementation
of the roll out of the systems to
the sites, data hosting, enterprise
content management and extensive Helpdesk
ownership.
