Alphameric Complete Successful Mill House Inns Roll Out For Spirit Group

When Spirit Group acquired 79 Mill House Inns in September 2006 they turned to Alphameric to help manage the transition from the Mill House Inns’ existing EPOS software and hardware to the current solution used by the rest of the Spirit estate as a joint project.

A successful two site pilot from November to January led to the roll out across the remaining 75 Mill House sites. Alphameric, a total service provider, removed the existing tills and carried out all the carpentry, cabling and electrical work necessary to ensure each site was ready for the new EPOS equipment.

At Alphameric’s 55,000 sq ft purpose built facility in Andover, existing XN700 tills were refurbished, cleaned and configured with TPOS prior to being installed, at an average of four tills per site, across the newly acquired estate.

The roll out has been completed on time bringing the total number of Spirit terminals supported by Alphameric to over 4,000.
