Review of Operations
Hospitality
In December 2004 we acquired the entire
issued share capital of Timeweave
Holdings Limited for a consideration
of £4.125 million. Timeweave
specialised in
the provision of the Microsoft Navision
suite of Enterprise Solutions. We
have
successfully integrated Timeweave
into our Hospitality operation, re-branded
its
solutions as Caterwide Dimension and
are generating significant interest
in the
enlarged solution.
In March 2005 we acquired, for a consideration
of £6.8 million, the entire
issued share capital of Telectronics
Systems Limited, a company that offers
EPoS
and back office solutions as well
as help desk and ancillary services
to the
hospitality sector. The process of
integrating Telectronics into our
Hospitality
operation is progressing well and
we are already seeing significant
cross selling opportunities emerge
between our respective customer bases.
The
market that Alphameric Hospitality
serves is undergoing a period of
consolidation as the major players
look to increase their market share
through
targeted acquisitions. We believe
that this presents opportunities for
our
Caterwide Enterprise solution, which
can bring demonstrable business benefits
in
terms of increased revenues and reduced
costs, particularly where a range
of
legacy systems is involved.
