Review of Operations
Hospitality
Alphameric Hospitality had
a very strong first half with revenues
almost
doubling to £8.4 million against
£4.3 million in 2004 and operating
profit
(before amortisation of goodwill and
exceptional administrative expenses)
increasing to £1.0 million from
£0.4 million.
Our strategy of providing our hospitality
solutions on long-term contracts has
now started to generate tangible revenue
and profit growth and is helping us
to
realise the potential for this business.
During the period we announced new
contracts with Pret a Manger for a
wireless
EPoS roll-out, with Benjy's for our
market leading Caterwide solution
and with
Enterprise Inns for our sales order
capture solution. We also announced
an
extension to our existing long term
agreement with Costa Coffee for a
further
three years to 2009. I am confident
that this flow of excellent news will
continue as we strengthen further
our market position.
